A broad leafy tree with a thick curving trunk, layered branches and a ragged leaf canopy that tapers to a point, standing on a low grassy mound. A large five-point star is cut out of the center of the canopy, with tiny stars sprinkled through the leaves and five bolder stars floating around the outline. Cut it for a Christmas mantel sign, a winter card front, a holiday window cling, a gift box topper, a layered shadow box, or a wooden door hanger.
One solid color, with the star, branch gaps and leaf notches all as negative space, so it lifts in a single pass. The scattered mini stars inside the canopy and the fine branch tips are the most delicate parts, so stay at 8 in tall or larger in vinyl, or thin the small stars for anything under 6 in. Cardstock and permanent vinyl both suit it; weed the canopy gaps from the center outward. Pairs with the other Christmas cut files.
