A frosted gingerbread cottage sits at a slight angle, its steep roof piled with icing that drips over the eaves and a thin curl of smoke leaving the candy chimney. A round attic window, a snowflake-stamped arched door and scattered candy dots finish the cozy, hand-inked scene, which rests on a small drift of snow. Cut it for Christmas shirts, layered card fronts, gift-bag stencils, mug and tumbler vinyl, ornament toppers or seasonal window clings.
It is drawn as one solid silhouette with the icing, windows and candy dots knocked out, so a single color of vinyl or cardstock carries the whole picture. Those dots are the limiting detail: stay at 4 inches or larger for heat transfer vinyl and 5 inches for paper. Weed the snow speckles last, and pair it with the front-facing gingerbread house.
