A storybook cottage faces the viewer with a tall peaked roof edged in dripping icing, a brick chimney and falling snowflakes all around. Two arched windows with paned glass and icing swags flank a wide plank door, a round window sits under the gable, and a little fir tree, shrub, wrapped gift and snow mounds fill the base. Everything reads as one solid color with the snow, glass and scrollwork reversed out, so no layering is needed.
