Five broad, pointed leaves fan out from one slim stem, each opened up with a center rib and fine side veins cut straight through the shape. The look is calm botanical farmhouse — simple enough to sit next to lettering, pretty enough to stand alone. Use it for herb jar and pantry labels, a kitchen wall sign, greenery on wedding invitations, a vinyl accent on a planter or window, or layered card stock cards.
One solid cut layer, so a single sheet of green vinyl or card stock does the whole thing. The veins are the delicate part: keep the sprig at 3 inches or larger so the thin slivers lift cleanly, and use a fresh fine-point blade. Weed the leaf interiors first, then the stem.
