A venus flytrap standing open on a tall stem, its trap fringed with long spiked teeth and a second row of inner spines, with two toothed lobes and slim blades of grass fanning out from a tuft at the base. Botanical but a little menacing — plant-shop energy with bite. Cut it for a tumbler decal, a plant-lover tote bag, a heat transfer tee, a greenhouse window vinyl or a layered greeting card.
It is a single welded color layer, so one sheet of vinyl and one cut. The spikes around the trap and the thin grass blades are the delicate parts: 6 inches tall or more in vinyl, 8 inches in cardstock, and use a fine-point blade with fresh mat tack. Weed the spikes inward from the tips with a hook tool. Sits nicely with the other houseplant and botanical cut files.
