A slender upright branch carries slim, tapered needle leaves that angle upward along the stem, with smaller side shoots near the base — the loose, hand-drawn look of a fresh cut herb. Tall and narrow, so it fits neatly in a column of text or a border. Use it for spice jar labels, a farmhouse kitchen sign, wedding place cards, a chalkboard-style menu decal or a layered card stock gift tag.
Cuts as one solid color on a single layer. The leaves taper to very fine points, so hold it at 4 inches or taller in vinyl and use a fresh fine-point blade at a slower speed; below that the tips round off. Weed the gaps between leaves before lifting the outer waste, and use gridded transfer tape to keep the branch straight. Sits nicely alongside the sage leaf for a two-herb kitchen set.
