A mature bonsai grows from a shallow oval pot, its trunk twisting in an S-curve above exposed surface roots. Six rounded foliage pads float on thin branches, each with a fine twig structure showing underneath, and the pot rests on small squared feet. The mood is calm and Japanese-garden minimal. One solid cut color with closed, welded paths and no stroke-only shapes. The twigs inside each pad are the fine part, so 6 inches on the long side is a comfortable minimum in 651 or 631 vinyl; go 8 inches or larger for cardstock and HTV. Use a fine-point blade, a fresh mat, and weed the branch gaps with a pin tool before the pads. Pairs with other nature cut files like ferns and mountain scenes.
