A single bird of paradise stem rises with its spiky bloom fanned open at the top, flanked by four broad paddle leaves whose veins are drawn as fine cut-away strokes. The feel is botanical and tropical, closer to a linocut print than a cartoon. Works beautifully as a bathroom wall decal, a summer tee, a canvas tote, a stenciled plant pot, or framed vinyl for a plant corner.
One color, one cut layer, but the leaf veining is the real test of your blade: those hairlines need 7 inches or more on the long side in adhesive vinyl, and 8 inches in HTV. Matte black or deep green vinyl suits it. Weed the veins first with a fine hook while the surrounding leaf is still anchored. Pairs with the monstera and palm leaf cut files.
