A symmetrical eight-point star mandala made entirely of leaves: broad outer petals with pointed tips, rings of narrower leaves tucked behind them and a dense rosette at the center, all etched with fine vein lines and small dot accents. The effect is botanical and meditative. Cut it for vinyl wall art, tumbler wraps, tote bags, layered paper cards, stencils for painted furniture and framed cardstock decor.
Single-color art, but the vein lines are hairline thin, so this is an intermediate-to-advanced cut. Go 8 in or larger on the long side in vinyl, and larger still in cardstock, to keep those slivers from tearing. A new blade, slow speed and a strong grip mat help; weed the center rosette first with tweezers. Pairs with the shop's other mandala and botanical cut files.
