A squid facing forward, with a pointed mantle, two triangular fins swept out at the top, a pair of round ringed eyes and eight long tentacles curling outward in loose spirals, dotted along their inner edges with suckers. It reads bold and slightly mythic, closer to a kraken emblem than a cute sea creature. Cut it for nautical tees, bar and galley signs, tumblers, tote bags, boat window decals and layered cards.
Single cut layer with small knock-outs for the eyes, the mantle highlight and the sucker rows. Those suckers are tiny, so hold it at 6 in or larger on the long side in vinyl if you want them to stay separate; smaller sizes still work as a clean silhouette. Weed the tentacle tips last so the thin curls do not lift. Pairs with the shop's anchor, wave and octopus cut files.
