A skunk sits in profile with its plumed tail sweeping up behind it, the classic white back stripe running from the crown into the tail fur. Small round ears, a bright eye and fine whiskers give it a woodland-storybook feel. Cut it for a camping shirt, a woodland nursery wall decal, a kids' tote bag, a cardstock forest-theme card, a scout troop mug, or a bookmark in cardstock.
One solid color with the stripe read as negative space, so it cuts as a single layer. The tail tips, whiskers and thin stripe slivers are the fine work; stay at 5 inches or larger so those spikes hold together. Removable or permanent vinyl and 65 lb cardstock both handle it. Weed the narrow tail gaps last so the fur points stay anchored. Pairs with the fox, raccoon and deer silhouettes.
