A young skunk sits facing forward with large round eyes, a heart-shaped white muzzle, long whiskers and a soft pale chest patch, while an oversized feathered tail sweeps up behind it. A white stripe runs from the nose over a tufted crown. The feel is sweet storybook woodland. Works for nursery wall decals, toddler shirts, woodland birthday cards, camp mugs, wooden name plaques and forest animal quilt appliqué.
Single color throughout, with the stripe, muzzle and chest cut away as negative space. The whisker lines and tail tufts are the fine points, so keep it 4 inches or larger on HTV and a touch bigger on cardstock. Weed the whiskers last. Sits well beside the fox, raccoon and hedgehog cut files.
