One open lily blooms at the top of a slender stem, its pointed petals swept back around a cluster of long stamens tipped with heavy anthers. Two narrow leaves angle off the stalk below. Everything is filled solid, with hairline gaps standing in for petal veins and scattered pollen. Cut as a single color. The floating stamen slivers and the thin vein gaps are the fussy parts, so drop the blade pressure a little and pull the outer waste before poking out the tiny interior pieces.
