A chrysanthemum opens in concentric rings of pointed petals, tightly packed at the dotted center and widening outward, with sharp leaves fanning out behind the bloom. Etched line shading on every petal gives it a botanical engraving feel rather than a flat shape. Single-color art with a lot of interior line work, so it cuts as fine positive and negative slivers rather than one solid mass. Keep it at 6 inches or larger; below about 5 inches the petal shading starts to lift with the weeded scrap. Standard 651 or 631 vinyl and cardstock beat glitter or flock here.
