One open lily faces the viewer with six pointed petals, a spray of dots across the throat, four stamens with heavy anthers and a single curling pistil. The stem carries four solid leaves, two sweeping wide and two lower on the stalk. It reads as a botanical sketch, calm and hand-drawn. Use it on a sympathy or wedding card, a framed paper-cut panel, a glass tumbler decal, a linen tote, a wood-grain sign, or an Easter table place card.
Cut as one color; the outlined petals with interior shading lines make the detail load high. Keep it at 5 inches or taller so the thin petal veins and the scattered throat dots hold their shape. Thin permanent vinyl or 65 lb cardstock works best, and a weeding hook helps lift the tiny dots. Sits nicely beside the other single-stem florals in the shop.
