A tall steel lattice tower rises from a small footing, its four legs braced by rows of crossed girders that narrow steadily toward the top. At the peak sit a railed gallery and a roofed lantern room with a thin lightning rod above. The whole frame is filled solid, leaving the bracing as open triangles. Vintage engineering charm for coastal wall vinyl, nautical shirts, travel scrapbook layouts, map-wall decals, wood signs and greeting cards.
One solid color, but the open framework is all thin bars and narrow triangles, so this is the design to size up. At 10 inches tall the bracing weeds without tearing; under 6 inches the girders start lifting with the waste. Use a fresh blade and a strong-grip mat. Pairs with the anchor and sailboat silhouettes.
