A slender stem rises through nine pointed leaves of alternating sizes, capped by a solid heart in place of a flower, with two little hearts floating free at either side. The silhouette is botanical and romantic, with a hand-cut paper feel. Use it on a wedding welcome sign, a bridal shower card, a canvas tote, a nursery wall decal, a bridesmaid gift box or a spring table place card.
One solid color and one cut layer, with the leaves already joined to the stem so nothing falls apart on the mat. The stem tapers to about a millimeter at the base, so keep it at 5 inches tall or more in vinyl and 6 inches in cardstock. Sage or blush adhesive vinyl suits the mood. Note the two loose hearts are separate pieces, so transfer them with tape to hold spacing. Pairs with the eucalyptus and wildflower sprigs.
