One bearded iris opens at the top of a straight stem: two ruffled upright petals drawn in fine fanned lines sit above three dark falls that curl down and out, each ridged with hatching along the beard. A slim leaf and a closed bud rise beside the stem. Vintage botanical-plate mood. Works for garden shed signs, memorial cards, tote bags, framed wall art and a tumbler wrap.
Single color, one layer, no registration needed, but the engraved hatching across the petals is very fine. Ten inches tall is the sweet spot for vinyl; below about seven inches drop the thinnest strokes or print-and-cut instead. Card stock and heat transfer vinyl both hold the detail. Pairs with the other single-stem botanicals.
