A full hydrangea head sits on a straight stem, built from overlapping five-petal blooms with tiny stamen dots at each center and fine engraved lines running through every petal. Two broad, saw-edged leaves spread below in solid black. The look is botanical and hand-inked rather than sweet. Cut it for a garden shed sign, a kitchen towel, a canvas tote, a linen pillow cover, a birthday card front, or a framed paper-cut panel.
This is a single-color cut with the petal veining held as negative space, so keep it at 5 inches or larger on vinyl and leave the small stamen dots in place with tweezers when you weed. Below about 4 inches the thin vein slivers start to lift. Cardstock, matte HTV and adhesive vinyl all hold the detail well. Pairs with other line-art florals and monogram frames in the shop.
