One hibiscus flower opens toward you, five ruffled petals fanning out with fine radiating veins and a long stamen column tipped with round pollen dots. A stem carries two solid dark leaves below, so the piece balances airy outlines against filled shapes. Cut as one colour, with the petal outlines and hairline veins as the delicate part. Keep it at 7 inches or larger for vinyl and 8 inches for card stock so the veins survive; below that, delete the finest lines first. Try black on white or coral on cream.
