A traditional fleur de lis stands upright in one solid color: a tall pointed center petal, two side petals that sweep out and curl into tight scrolls, a plain band across the middle and a pair of curled tendrils below with a small spear tip at the base. The feel is formal and heraldic. Cut it for iron-on shirts, a painted wood sign, wall vinyl, card fronts, tote bags or etched glassware stencils.
Single-layer, closed, welded paths, so it cuts in one pass with no alignment needed. The inner white slivers between the scrolls are the thin parts; at around 3 in tall they weed easily, and below 2 in they want a fresh blade and slow speed. Works in glitter HTV, adhesive vinyl or cardstock. Pairs with the other ornamental and monogram files.
