A bold round clock with a heavy rim, a filled dark dial and crisp white hour marks, its hands sweeping up toward twelve for that countdown moment. The second hand runs straight through the center pin, giving it a ticking, almost-there feeling. Cut it for a New Year's Eve party shirt, a champagne bucket decal, a countdown banner, a mantel sign, a card front or a gift bag for a midnight toast.

The marks and hands are reverse cuts inside the dial, so one color of vinyl or cardstock handles it, or add a second layer behind for a white face. Those thin hands are the tricky part; keep it at 4 inches or wider and weed the center outward. Glossy black or metallic gold vinyl suits the occasion, and it layers well with the other New Year and celebration cut files.
