A wide-winged butterfly is shown from above in solid black, with long oval and teardrop cut-outs arranged in rows across every wing, scalloped lower edges, scattered dots along the borders and two fine curved antennae over a slim body. Balanced and symmetrical, it works for layered wall decor, statement tees and tanks, wedding and spring cards, mugs, window decals and framed paper art.
One solid color on a single cut layer, but the interior markings are many and narrow, so scale it to six inches or wider on vinyl and eight inches on cardstock to keep the thin bridges intact. Matte black vinyl or 65 lb cardstock cuts cleanest. Weed the small border dots with a fine hook, working from the outer edge inward. Pairs with the retro butterfly PNG and the other insect cut files.
