A round two-tier cake sits on a wide plate, its top edge dripping with thick icing and crowned by piped frosting rosettes. Five candles stand upright, one striped and one plain among the solid ones, each with a pointed flame. Sprinkle dots freckle the lower layer. Cut it for a birthday shirt, a party card, a happy birthday banner, a cake topper in cardstock, a gift bag decal or a bakery window sign.
It is drawn as a single-color cut with the highlights knocked out of the black, so one layer of vinyl or cardstock does the job. The sprinkle dots and the thin icing highlight lines are the smallest pieces, so stay at four inches or larger in HTV and five in cardstock; below that, weed the dots away rather than fighting them. Use a fresh blade for the flame tips. Pairs with the balloon bunch and party hat files.
