A bat seen head-on in mid-flight, wings stretched wide with deeply scalloped trailing edges, small hooked thumbs at the wing joints, pointed ears and two narrow slit eyes cut out of the solid shape. Spooky but tidy rather than gory. Cut it for a window cling, a wall swarm on painted plaster, a trick-or-treat tote, a classroom bulletin board, a card front, or a black vinyl decal for a front door.
Single color, closed welded paths, so it cuts in one pass on adhesive vinyl, heat transfer vinyl or cardstock. The eye slits and wing hooks are the finest parts and stay clean down to about 3 inches wide. Matte black vinyl reads best on glass. Weed the eyes first, then the outer scallops.
