A full leafy tree grows from a patch of grass with a plank swing hanging on two chains, all held inside a thick circular ring. Loose leaves drift to either side and small blossoms dot the canopy, giving a calm backyard-memory feeling. The closed circle makes it easy to place on round blanks: a layered paper monogram card, a vinyl window cluster, a wood round door hanger, a farmhouse porch sign or a memorial gift frame.
This is a single-color, single-layer cut with everything joined to the outer ring, so it stays in one piece on the mat. The swing chains and grass blades are the thinnest parts; cut at 6 inches or larger for vinyl and 8 inches for cardstock. Use a fresh blade, weed the chain links first, and pair it with the bold side-view tree for a matching set.
