Minimal Scallop Seashell Cut File

A scallop shell drawn straight on, its ribs fanning out from the hinge in clean tapered lines with a scalloped top edge and a small shadow under the base. The look is simple and coastal rather than cutesy. Cut it for beach house wall decor, tote bags, summer tees, nautical nursery vinyl, guest bathroom signs and layered ocean cards.
One welded cut layer, so a single sheet of vinyl or cardstock does the whole shell. The rib lines taper to hairline points at the hinge — 4 in wide keeps them intact in vinyl, and cardstock wants 5 in or more. Weed from the center out, and it pairs naturally with the shop's other sea designs.
