A plump round pomegranate sits under a spray of four pointed leaves, each carved with a fine center vein and side ribs. The fruit keeps its little crown calyx on top and a curved highlight sweeps down the left side, giving a clean botanical look with a folk art edge. Good for kitchen wall signs, tea towels, apron pockets, harvest table place cards, canister labels and Rosh Hashanah cards.
One solid cut layer handles the whole thing, or split the fruit and leaf spray for a two color build in deep red and green. The leaf veins are the thinnest cuts here, so keep the design at 4 inches tall or more and slow your blade slightly on adhesive vinyl. Weed the veins first while the sheet is still flat. Sits nicely beside other fruit cut files.
