A hedgehog walks to the right in side view, its back a dome of layered spikes broken by small pale flecks, with a pointed snout, round nose, bright eye and a soft white cheek fringe below the quills. Short legs and tiny clawed feet finish the shape. Charming on nursery wall art, toddler tees, woodland party totes, baby milestone blankets, greeting cards, and wooden name plaques.
This cuts as one colour with a lot of tiny internal flecks, so it is the most detailed file in this group. Keep it at 7 inches or wider for vinyl and 8 inches for card stock, or simplify the fleck layer for smaller sizes. Matte black vinyl weeds most cleanly. Work outward from the face with a fine hook and take the spike gaps slowly. Pairs with the other woodland animal cut files.
