A broad-bodied fish hangs from a barbed hook on a taut line, mouth open, with the gill plate, dorsal fin and tail marked by fine white strokes and one round eye left open. Single layer throughout. The hook shank and the line above it are narrow, and the fin strokes are hairline, so hold the artwork at six inches tall or more and the line will not lift while you weed. Use strong transfer tape and burnish the line well. Pairs with fishing boat and lure cut files.
