A writing quill lies at a diagonal, tip in the upper right and a long bare shaft tapering to a rounded end at the lower left. The vane sweeps in one graceful curve with a handful of clean pale lines marking separated barbs, and a small tuft breaks away where the shaft meets the plume. Stick it on reading journals, laptop lids, book club planners, letter envelopes, tumblers and desk organizers.
One printed piece with the 3 mm white border built in, plus a red hairline cut file for Silhouette registration. The thin end of the shaft is the weak point, so at least 3 inches on the long side keeps the cut from looking ragged. Matte paper suits the inky look best. Pairs with the single and boho feathers.
