A cavalier spaniel head turns in three-quarter profile, looking up and to the left. Single-colour cut with plenty of intricate fur strands, so this one rewards patience: keep it at 5 inches or larger in vinyl, 4 inches in cardstock, and use a fine-point blade with slower speed. Weed the ear feathering from the tips inward and use transfer tape with good tack so the thin strands lift together. Black or brown vinyl reads best. Pairs with the other dog breed cut files.
