A top-down honey bee in solid black: oval thorax, tapered abdomen split by pale stripe cut-outs, two pairs of wings spread wide with vein lines showing through, six jointed legs and slim antennae above a round head. Detailed but still bold enough to read from across a room. Made for farmhouse kitchen signs, vinyl on mugs and tumblers, HTV tees and aprons, tote bags, mason jar decals and layered cardstock cards.
Single colour on one welded layer, with the stripes and wing veins cut as negative space rather than a second sheet. Those veins are the fine detail: at 4 in wide and up they weed cleanly, smaller and the thinnest lines can lift. Matte black 651 or a soft HTV both work. Weed the wings before the legs and antennae. Pairs with the oak tree and other nature cut files.
