A honey bee viewed from directly above: fuzzy black thorax, bright golden abdomen banded with black stripes, two pairs of translucent veined wings spread wide, six bristled legs and long curved antennae over a round-eyed head. Friendly and naturalistic. Great on water bottles, planner and bullet-journal spreads, honey jar labels, laptop lids, garden shed tins and kids' lunchbox decoration.
It prints in full colour as a single die-cut piece with the 3 mm white offset built in, so the yellow bands and wing veins need no layering. Legs and antennae are the fragile bits: at under 1.75 in the leg bristles thin out, so 2 in and up is the sweet spot. Glossy or waterproof vinyl paper holds the yellow best outdoors. Pairs with the beehive sticker and the black bee cut file.
